About Dr.K.Raghu

He is the Consultant Haematologist at Arunodhaya Medical Center and has over 37 years of expertise in Haematology.

He passed out with distinction from coimbatore Medical College with his MBBS degree in 1978.

He obtained his MD in Pathology and Haematology from the Prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh in 1981 and was the best outgoing resident.

He then went to the United Kingdom and worked for three years in Haematology in various hospitals including the University Hospital, Nottingham and Harefield-Mt.Vernon Hospitals in London.

He obtained his Diplomate in Haematology from the Royal College of Pathologists, London in 1985.

He returned to India in 1987 and started his practice in Coimbatore.

He regularly goes abroad either for Haematology update meetings or training.

He was trained in Bone Marrow Transplantation at the University of Birmingham, UK in 2010.

He has done over 10000 bone marrow procedures in the last 30 years and considered an expert in diagnostic hematology.

He is a member of the Indian and American Societies of Hematology.
